Nematicides

Nematicides from «nematode» and the Latin «caedo» — I kill, chemicals for the destruction of harmful herbivorous nematodes.

The following groups of nematicides are distinguished:

  • fumigant, cause poisoning of nematodes when they enter the body in a vapor or gaseous state through the respiratory system;
  • contact, the poison is absorbed into the body of worms upon contact with the skin;
  • systemic, absorbed by roots or leaves and spreading through the plant, making it poisonous to parasitic nematodes.
