
Design and calculation of RMS
Our specialists will carry out for you the design and calculation of a drip irrigation system of any level of complexity on areas from 1 ha to 1000 ha. When developing the project, all the wishes, features of the site will be taken into account and the most cost-effective solution will be offered to you.
The design of any site begins with the collection of initial data. This includes, first of all, filling out the terms of reference, in which it is necessary to indicate the dimensions of the field with the roads existing on it. The location of the water source, its flow rate and chemical analysis. The relief of the surface can be obtained by knowing the coordinates of the site (GPS) or the customer must provide topographic maps (if the slope exists). It is also necessary to know the crop being grown, the planting pattern and the direction of the rows. Other points of the initial data can be found by opening the form of the terms of reference.
After receiving the data, the field outline is drawn in some graphic program or manually.
Hydraulic calculation is an important part of the pipe size selection process for pipeline construction.
The head loss associated with overcoming frictional forces during fluid flow in a pipe is determined by the equation:
where: L and D are the length of the pipeline and its internal diameter, m; ? — liquid density, kg/m3; w is the average volumetric velocity, m/s, determined from the flow rate Q, m3/s:
λ is the coefficient of hydraulic friction, a dimensionless quantity that characterizes the ratio of the forces of friction and inertia.
Based on these calculations, as well as the technical characteristics of individual equipment (pipes, drip lines, hydraulic valves, etc.), various hydrocalculators have been created.
The drawing contains information such as:
- the main indicators of the project (irrigation rate, type of irrigation, area of the plot, irrigation rate and the number of hours needed to irrigate the entire plot, etc.);
- symbols of objects drawn on the drawing;
- number of piping, drip line, sprinklers, spray hose, sprinklers;
- irrigation scheme (number of irrigation blocks).
Based on the finished drawing, a sheet of materials is formed taking into account the wishes of the customer, the availability of equipment in the warehouse or the timing of its delivery.
