The grain harvester KZS-1218-29 «PALESSE GS12» is a high-performance combine harvester with a threshing and separating device 1500 mm wide, in which the grain mass flow is accelerated before threshing. At the same time, a distinctive feature of the PALESSE GS12 thresher is the large diameters of the accelerator drum and the threshing drum (600 and 800 mm) — more than in any other threshing machine of a similar type. Due to this, the combine provides a stable threshing at the harvest of «difficult», including clogged, high-straw and wet bread. A special all-wheel drive version of the combine is effective on soils with low bearing capacity.
The efficiency of the combine is increased by using additional adapters for harvesting various crops, by re-equipping the thresher (harvesting corn for grain and sunflower), thresher and undercarriage (harvesting rice). Depending on the preferences of the markets, the harvester can be equipped with engines from different manufacturers.
A distinctive feature of the PALESSE GS12 thresher is the increased diameters of the accelerator drum and the threshing drum: 600 and 800 mm, respectively. In combination with the increased double concave area, this made the threshing path longer and the threshing itself more gentle. The result is a high level of threshing and separation, including on tall crops.
The accelerator drum increases the speed of movement of the grain mass coming from the feeder house conveyor, bringing it closer to the speed of rotation of the threshing drum. The accelerator is equipped with a primary concave, thanks to which threshing and separation begin already at the stage of flow acceleration. In addition, the teeth of the accelerator drum evenly distribute the mass. Thus, the load on the threshing drum and the main concave is reduced. This allows for stable and efficient threshing, giving the combine an advantage in harvesting twisted and wet crops.
The presence of seven cascades with an optimal height difference on each of the five straw walker keys and a large amplitude of the oncoming movement of the keys improve the separation of grain from the straw heap, maintain stable performance and reduce losses. |
